Grand Duc Trail de Chartreuse – Volunteers’ Evening

Preparations are already underway to create an unforgettable experience in the Chartreuse this summer. The evening provided an opportunity to introduce the organising team and assign roles for the 2026 event. Nearly 70 people attended, and the gathering ended on a very convivial note with a delicious raclette.

Chartreuse Terminorum 2026

In just over 100 days, 40 runners will set off from Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse. 300 km. 25,000 m elevation gain. 5 loops. 16 hours max per loop. 80 hours to complete the race. No GPS. No markings. No assistance during the loops. The Chartreuse Terminorum is not a classic race. Here, running is not enough. You have to copy your map. Read the contour lines. Find books hidden in the mountains. Make decisions when you're tired. Accept that you'll have to take breaks. Keep going when everything is telling you to stop. Finishing is the exception.
